Kitchen Sink Cabinet Water Damage Repair

A decorative solution to a very common problem- water damage under the kitchen sink!

Water had damaged this cabinet beyond hope, or so the homeowner thought. By cutting out the damaged section, installing a nailing ledge, cutting a new board to match profile, and routing the plumbing through the new board it was solid once again. But, how can we make it attractive?

Using spare LVP flooring, I installed it over the new bottom board and finished the edge with an attractive aluminum transition strip. The best part is: this time it's water-proof!
